Laura Ann Martin
Laura Ann Martin was born October 20, 1934 in Nome, Alaska to Jesse and Art Trigg.
Laura Martin started her cooking career at Norton Sound Regional Hospital. Retiring from cooking at the hospital, she moved to cooking at the XYZ Senior Center from where she retired at the age of 81.
She was a very hard worker, independent and a very strong woman.
She enjoyed her love of cooking and baking bread at home. She loved camping, fishing and picking berries. Many of her family members followed in her footsteps of her love for cooking.
She always had a soft spot in her heart for her many grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Richard of Chugiak, Frankie of Nome, Gary of Anchorage, her daughters Sharron of Anchorage, Jane of Palmer, Annette of Anchorage; grandsons Aaron Martin of Eagle River, grandsons Daniel Harrison of Chickaloon, grandson Paul Harrison of Palmer, grandson Denny Martin of Nome, grand daughters Lavone Giang and Joan Miller of Nome, granddaughters Giselle, Raeanne, Audrey, Lisa, Raevyn and her many great grand children. She went home on May 15, 2018 to be with her beloved husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Martin, her brother Clarence Trigg, her sister Pearl Black, her daughter Gail Cordero, her grandson Joey Martin and her great grandson Hayden Martin.
