It’s Wilderness Out There

We often forget that Nature trumps all. There is no getting around it, we can’t play the fool. What we must always remember is the power of the wild outdoors. We should not treat the outdoors on a casual basis.

We need always be aware of what is out there. And we need to carefully plan our trip. If we are going to plan a trip we need to tell our friends where we will be travelling, when we plan to return and when they should call for help. We need to file the plan with the Troopers and the Nome Police Department. This takes extra time, but is well worth the effort.
